Ready To Be Ready I wasn’t ready to be ready For what they all said I was comfortably lonely Spent my days in bed. An empty pillow Unwrinkled sheets They said soon I’m gonna find Someone next to me. I kept on searching, searching for nothing I wasn’t ready to be tied down But then I saw you singing Tiny Dancer Maybe I am ready to be ready now Yeah, I am ready to be ready now. I wasn’t ready to be ready But that’s how it goes One day you’re lonely The next you’re saying hello. To a beautiful girl, who’s gonna change my world. (CHORUS) Ooohhh….. (CHORUS) Ooohhh…..

Already Mine 03:36
Already Mine I fell in love the minute I saw you Sitting there in a faceless crowd Thought it was a dream, but my eyes were open Couldn’t help but stare in your direction My mind was quiet but the room was loud Probably got no chance, but I sure am hopin’. I just wanna know you Because I barely know me You could show me how much better life's supposed to be. I’ve got no more time to waste, When I’ve been wasting all my time Can you see me as yours, Cause you’re already mine. Fast forward to a few days later All I wanna do is see your face You’re heading over, and I bet you’re looking fine. Put your weekend plans in sleep mode Let the nights blur into days (And we’ll) do it…all again…like we hit rewind. (CHORUS) Already mine….Already mine…. (CHORUS) I fell in love the minute I saw you.
3.
Color Me Blind You gotta style, full of confidence I’m in denial, must be happenstance My life was chaos, ‘Till you put me at ease Cause I’m a hurricane, and you’re a summer breeze. Whooo….. I got that blue sky Hovering over my head I wanna see those green eyes Staring back at me in bed But I don’t see what you see in me You must be outta your mind Whoo….you color me blind. I say I’m lucky, You say it’s meant to be I call it lucky, you call it destiny. Whooo…. (CHORUS) You’re everything that I want You put the light in my dark One day maybe I’ll see Why you’ve fallen for me. (CHORUS)
4.
Sweet Southern Girl I grew up in Jersey, Where no one could hurt me I moved to the south, With my rude northern mouth. I found an apartment, With coffee stained carpet I checked out the city, To see if I had it in me. To turn into someone who could live on their own To meet some good people, to make this a home While missing the ones who taught me to grow I learned that it’s ok to just take it slow. Thank you Atlanta, You gave me new life I traded the stars for the bright city lights I could’ve been lost in This big open world Until I found me a sweet southern girl I’m so glad I found me a sweet southern girl. In the suburbs of Philly, Is where I could still be But I quit running that race, For a much slower pace. Love don’t come easy, wherever you go But the south has the belles, Like the north has the snow. (CHORUS) (SOLO) (prechorus chords) (Chorus) Thank God I found me a sweet southern girl.
5.
Other Side Of The Door As I write you these words You’re sound asleep in bed I’m down the hall, wishing I were next to you instead. An after dinner fight Set fire-to-our night It’s nights like these, I wish I kept my cool and my lips tight. I ain’t been sleepin’ Floorboards keep creakin’ Wish I was dreamin’ But all I see are words on the Pages…. I really hate this Let me lay beside you and know that we can make this I was selfish, and now I’m helpless There’s no winner in this war When you’re on the other side of the door. Before you fell asleep Did you even think to cry (Did every word I said) pass thru your head (And) Did you feel…justified? I still ain’t sleepin’ Floorboards still creakin’ We keep repeatin’ Every single word on these Pages… CHORUS
6.
Julianna 02:55
Julianna The nights last forever, but the hours are few Each passing moment, gets me closer to you. My heart’s beating faster, I got a lot on my plate And when that day comes, it’s hurry up and wait. Oh Julianna….(Julianna) We haven’t met, but I already know ya Don’t put up a fight You’ve got nothing to fear Julianna, Love is waiting out here. An innocent angel, on a falling star Soon you’ll be guilty, for stealing my heart. (CHORUS) Love, love, will come pouring down When you see your first light When you hear your first sound - Oh Julianna!! (Julianna)…..Oh Julianna (Julianna)… Don’t put up a fight You’ve got nothing to fear Julianna, Love is waiting out here.
7.
Condo 03:48
Condo I’m gonna buy you that condo Off Highway 98 A place to make some new memories Yeah I can hardly wait. I wanna show you you’re worth it I’ll give you everything You don’t have to keep dreamin’ Beyond just a wedding ring. It might take a little time….But it’s always on my mind. I can picture me and you, And a beachfront ocean view A french pressed sunrise, Under a cabana for two The girls are grown up, Got kids of their own We’ll always have somewhere to go….. I’m gonna buy you that condo. We all need a little sunshine And a place to get away You been lookin’ for a good time And a suntanned holiday!! (CHORUS) I’ve been known to break a promise But always make it up to you. No nothings gonna stop us From making this dream come true. I'm gonna buy you that condo Off highway 98 I’m gonna buy you that condo
8.
Nothing Else Matters Today We’ve seen so much together And there’s so much more ahead Nobody will ever know what we’ve seen Nobody will ever know what we dream But I think it’s better that way, Cause nothing else matters today. We’ll tell stories of tomorrow Of what yesterday always knew We’re gonna miss the good times and the bad We’re gonna wish for days that we never had There will be more on the way Nothing else matters today. Oohhh….. Nobody will ever know what we’ve seen Nobody will ever know what we dream But I think it’s better that way, Cause nothing else matters today. Nothing else matters today….. No nothing else matters today.
9.
Starting Over I’ll never leave you, Even if you break my heart Because I need you, To find us if we both get lost. Sometimes sorry isn’t good enough Sometimes I worry that you’ve given up We’ve got a lot to talk about. Even when the clouds reject the sun Don’t lose hope, when all I want is – To be the one you can’t live without. Before the end gets any closer, Let’s try starting over. If you wanna blame me, You’re too late I blame myself Thought love was easy, but hard to realize I let you down. Good times, bad times, what’s it mean When truth lies somewhere in between Some walk away when hearts get hurt. I always say that I’ll be better You reply with what’s it matter We both know that shit don’t work. Before the end get any closer, Let’s try starting over. (Pre 1) Even if the end feels closer, we’ll try starting over.
10.
Dying Day 04:34
Dying Day “LaLa LaLa….” Another cup of coffee On another early mornin’ Another have you seen my keys I swear that I just saw ‘em Another I’ll see you later Don’t know when I’ll be home Another where’s the time go when you’re gone. I’ve never loved you! I’ve never loved you more than I love you now It keeps getting stronger And as we get older I wouldn't have it any other way Love will out live our dying day. “LaLa LaLa” Another conversation Another how’d your day go Another get these kids to bed Don’t wanna miss the final episode Another hold me closer The day’s come to an end Another get up and do it all again. (CHORUS) “LaLa…..” (CHORUS) “LaLa LaLa”

about

This album was written and recorded as a gift for my wife, Katie. I wanted to surprise her with an album entirely about her and I, and our journey together that started back when we met while I was playing a gig at Tin Roof Cantina in Atlanta, GA.

This is a so-called "concept" album. Taking the listener chronologically through the many stages of our many years together. The ups and the downs and my personal experiences throughout the relationship journey.

After recording this entire album, I feel proud of the new music I have created and feel like it needs to be shared with everyone. (After Katie had the first listen of course).

This is the first album that I wrote, recorded, and produced on my own in my home studio!
